eSmart is an evidence-based program which helps create a school community where the smart, safe and responsible use of communications technology is the norm.
It connects cybersafety with overall wellbeing, and focuses on creating cultures of respect and personal responsibility in addition to providing students with the practical knowledge to ensure their security.
eSmart embraces the positive use of all forms of digital technologies. It fosters, safe, caring, respectful, supportive and inclusive communities, in which bullying and all forms of aggressive or negative behaviours are unacceptable.
Glenroy Central Primary School believes that the use of digital technologies at school allows the
development of valuable skills and knowledge and prepares students to thrive in our globalised and interconnected world. Our school’s vision is to empower students to use digital technologies safely and appropriately to reach their personal best and fully equip them to contribute positively to society as happy, healthy young adults. Students in the Senior Learning Community may use the Google Workspace for Education suite of tools. You can find comprehensive information here.
